Sandibe Safari Lodge is adjacent to Moremi Wildlife Reserve situated on the permanent channel of Okavango Delta.

Sandibe covers an area of about 270 Square Kilometers, consisting of a beautiful landscape.

In between the permanent water and grass swept plains lies the thatched lodge nestles.

Throughout the year, the Sandibe is surrounded by quite different wildlife animals for guests, game drives in open 4 x 4 vehicles and by use our professional guides. Interpretive bush walks are possible in this wetland wilderness.

Sandibe safari lodge is positioned to capture the available trees and natural surrounding with 8 beautiful thatched cottages each with en-suite bathrooms, private decks and an open shower over looking River Santantebe.

With an aim to trading the light on the earth, the Sandibe builders eroded the organic earthy living forest. Since no trees were cut done during its construction, instead the cottages were built on clear land with a few plants transported to the nearby forest.

Each cottage is decorated in rich and classic fusion of ochre and textiles like silk and leather made. Other features include; silent generator, woven mats, solar power, copper and rough-hewn wood, hence your comfort is ensured in the absence of air conditioner without affecting the surrounding environment.

Situated under a soaring canopy of trees. The lounge and dining areas act as the heart of the camp for views across the watery grassland and labyrinth. Sandibe Lodge has a very well stocked curio shop and a well-shaded swimming pool. For hundreds of years, the wildlife uses the meandering path of the camp.

Sandibe also provides candle lit dinners, setting up a romantic atmosphere on your own private verandah and in the boma at night especially, many candles are lit showing a golden dining table as well as having custom designed charcoal-cooled wine celles.

Activities include; bush walks, river cruises in electrical boats, game s drives in open 4 x 4 vehicles, bird watching, fishing, meroke (dug out canoe) excursions, bush breakfast, bird watching, night game drives and elegant bush drives where guests have the opportunity to sport delta animals.
