Getting to Maun
Botswana Air is a well-serviced efficient and well-oiled charter company. It flies daily from Johannesburgt to Maun. Many people fly to Victoria Falls or Livingstone by combining a trip to the Okavango with both Victoria Falls and Chobe.
Maun:
For most travellers, travel through Maun to get into Okavango Delta.
From Johannesburg, there are several and daily flights to Maun and receives three flights a week from Cape town and Windhoek. Here you are transferred by representatives, to a small Cession 206 flight, which flight fly to various camps and drop off guests like taxis as well as luggage and camp suppliers needed by the guests.
Luggage.
There is a limit of luggage because of the small planes limited to 12 Kg per guest.
Hair dryers, laundry facilities, very light dresses are among the facilities offered in these lodges, so there is no need to carry your kitchen sink.
