Actually, Chobe Game Lodge is the only lodge inside Chobe National Park, situated 100 Kms west of Victoria Falls in Botswana’s Northern woodlands of Chobe National Park.
Chobe has 46-roomed luxury safari lodge, which are tastefully furnished, with each room having a craft hand decorated with African carvings and paintings of Rhodesian teak furniture having air condition facilities, private balcony, have en-suite bathrooms and have mini bars.
These are a companied by individual swimming pools and gardens outside, which over look Chobe river. Some of the facilities in Chobe game lodge include wildlife reference library, a fully stocked curio shop, tshwene bar with full sized Victorian pool table. Under the lounge, mahogany trees towards the bank of River Chobe overlook the flood plain and the boma, which is the best place for outdoor eating, enclosed by reed walls furnished with teak and leather.
Activities at Chobe Game Lodge require individual requirements such as game drives conducted in the early morning and late afternoon by use of Four wheel drive vehicles, under the supervision of qualified guides.
Other activities include game viewing and fishing by small boats, bird viewing and African sunset cruises.
